Reilly had so much fun in the strawberry patch! He kept picking strawberries and eating them then putting them in our basket..or just chucking them in our basket. He is getting so smart. At first we didn't know if he would be too young to enjoy it but he certainly was not. In minutes our lil man's face was covered in strawberries and I think he would have cleared out the patch if we would have stayed longer. ;) Saturday night we went to our friends birthday party for their twins Danny and JoJo who turned three. It was such a cute circus theme! They even set up a little photo area to take pictures with clown props.
Sunday morning we gave Daddy his gifts of the big picture of Reilly on Daddy's boots to hang up, a coloring Reilly made, and a frozen yogurt maker. One of Daddy's favorite things is going out for frozen yogurt so we thought this would be a great gift we can do together at home. I was planning to make breakfast to serve to Alex in bed but since he can't sleep in for the life of him we just had a nice breakfast together at the table of homemade waffles with fresh picked strawberries and whipped cream. Later in the day we drove down to Rhode Island for an Air Show. We even found a tent for military and their families so we got to be up close! Reilly loved looking at all the airplanes up in the sky. He got a little tired at the end but once he got his second wind he had fun walking around the grounds. At the end of the show the Thunderbirds were out signing autographs. I thought it was pretty neat because one of the pilots name was Ryan Riley. For those of you who don't know my brother's name is Ryan Reilly so I thought it was SOOOOO COOOL! I was planning to make lobster when we got home to finish off a great father's day but since we were stuck in traffic we decided to do a "fancy" dinner at Panera bread instead. :)
All and all it was a great weekend. We had plenty of time to relax but it was full of fun activities as well. Enjoy some pics from our weekend!
